Local Educators to Provide Prevention Programming
Date: 01/12/2018

WISEFor the next two weeks (January 16-27, 2018), a local advocacy organization will provide research-based programming for Cardigan students on sexual violence prevention.

WISE, which has been working to end gender-based violence in our area through advocacy, prevention, and education since 1971, will be teaching classes for all grade levels. Their facilitators will cover topics such as gender stereotypes, healthy relationships, media literacy, and sexual harassment. This programming further supports this year’s school theme of “Who Are We?” as we seek to prepare our students to live meaningful and responsible lives.

Our community looks forward to having WISE join us on campus and share how teenagers can create and maintain positive relationships.
