Cougars Hoped For a Repeat Win Against Lebanon
Cardigan hosted Lebanon for the rematch of the season opener. Cardigan won its season opener 10-1 on a solid performance on the mound and at bat. This time around Lebanon was quite disciplined at-bat and ended up earning more than 15 walks during the game.

Cougars Take the Win in Fun Competition
On a beautiful Monday afternoon, Sunapee Middle School was back in Canaan for a second time in five days. Although the first match between the two teams was hugely in favor of Cardigan, the second one was a lot closer. Solid Win for JV Baseball on the Road
Cardigan traveled to South Royalton and worked on trying to build on their last win. Matthew Hong was the starting pitcher, and after struggling in the first inning giving up three runs, he came back strong throwing three more innings and giving up no runs. Paul Scull came on in relief throwing 3 solid innings giving up 3 runs.

Cardigan Defeats Sunapee at Home
Wednesday afternoon Cardigan hosted Sunapee Middle school. Adam Becht got the start. The game was decided early as Cardigan scored five runs in the first inning on four singles. In the second inning, the Cougars scored another five runs on two singles and a solid double by Landen Prince.

Cardigan JV Baseball Steals one at Home Against Holderness 9-8
Holderness joined Cardigan's JV baseball team in a close contest on family weekend. Good pitching from both sides kept the game moving right along. Holderness jumped out in front with a three-run home run which was Matthew Hong's only big miss on the day. He pitched three great innings and was pulled from the mound after starting the fourth with two walks.
