Solid Goaltending Leads Cougars to Win over Eagles
The Thirds lacrosse team ended their season in fashion with a 7-2 victory against their rival, Eaglebrook. The Cougars played a very solid game on both ends of the field and saw another fantastic performance by their goaltender, Noel Dalton. Overall, Thirds lacrosse had a successful spring, finishing the season with a 4-3 record.

Great Effort But Cougars Couldn’t Keep up the Intensity
Thirds lacrosse lost to Laconia on Wednesday 11-4. Cardigan played a great game for three quarters. The game was tied 3-3 at halftime and the Cougars were down 5-3 after the third quarter, but they couldn’t keep up the intensity and necessary defensive play to finish the game strong. Cougars Were Hungry For A Win And Got It Against Eaglebrook
The Thirds lacrosse team put forth a great team effort on Saturday to defeat Eaglebrook 6-5. The Cougars came together as a unit and never lost composure. The Thirds lacrosse team went on the road on Friday and lost to a strong Lebanon team, 7-3
The Cougars were not at the top of their game and had trouble executing their offensive plays. Diego Armida scored two goals for the Cougars and Adrian Escobar scored one. Thirds lacrosse looks to bounce back from this tough loss as they face Eaglebrook on Saturday at 2 pm.

Cougars Win Close Game on the Road
Thirds lacrosse beat Woodstock 5-4 on Monday afternoon. The Cougars played a hard fought game from start to finish, coming from behind twice. Noel Dalton played another fantastic game in net for Cardigan. Henry Sterrett, Gavin Lui, Griffin Smith, Michael Fluty, and Colin Dowling all tallied goals for the Cougars. The thirds lacrosse team travels to Lebanon on Friday for a game at 4 pm.

All Around Great Game Leads to Big Win For Thirds Lacrosse
Thirds lacrosse beat New London 11-1 on Wednesday. The Cougars played an all-around great game. Noel Dalton was extremely solid in net. Cardigan’s defense played strong, the middies executed their clears and offensive schemes, and the attack was very productive. Thirds lacrosse heads up to Vermont on Monday to play Woodstock.

Thirds Laxers Drop First Game of Season to Laconia
Thirds lacrosse lost their first game of the season 9-1 against Laconia on Saturday. Adrian Escobar scored Cardigan’s only goal, which was assisted by Diego Armida. The Cougars ran well throughout the entire game and were very competitive with ground balls, however, couldn’t capitalize on opportunities when they counted most. The two teams meet again on May 23rd at CMS.
