The Cardigan Cougars Thirds Tennis Team traveled to Eaglebrook for a biannual tradition . . . Eaglebrook Day! Our third face-off against the Eagles and final match of the season proved to be feathers over fur. Cougars Up-End Rams at Home

The Cardigan Cougars, Thirds tennis team, faced off against the Tilton Rams for the third time this season. Each time these teams have met the competition has been fierce and the sportsmanship exemplary! Again supported by a large home crowd, the Cougars walked away victorious with an overall score of 6-3.

Again, the Eagles soared onto the court with some impressive serves and groundstrokes to take an early lead of two matches to none, but our mighty Cougars quickly clawed back. The Cardigan Cougars Thirds tennis team was hosted by a very gracious Vermont Academy on this beautiful spring day. Supported by several Cougar families (the Choi, Tian and Warder families), the boys hit the Wildcats with their best shots and they were clear winners!

Cougars Host Pelicans on Sunny Day

The Cardigan Cougars, Thirds tennis team, hosted St. Paul’s JV boys this past Wednesday. The setting was as perfect as they come - lakeside, sunshine and great competitors. The final score was three sets for the Cougars to six for the Pelicans. Though a seemingly clean victory for St. Paul's, the Cougars walked off the courts with their heads held high.

The Cardigan Cougars, Thirds tennis team, hosted the Hanover High School JV boys this past Saturday. In their fifth match of the season, the Cougars played valiantly against a very skilled JV team. Cougars Win Close Match Over Rams

Once again the Cardigan Cougars, Thirds tennis team, went head to head against the Tilton Rams. Each team played hard and in the end, every point counted. Supported by a large home crowd, the Cougars walked away victorious with an overall score of 5-4. Our first seed player, Reid Warder, showed true grit in his match versus a lower varsity opponent though Warder was edged out 7-9.

The Cardigan Cougars, Thirds tennis team, hosted the Wildcats of Vermont Academy on this brisk afternoon. The Cougars played magnificently and swept the competition nine games to zero. In spite of the brisk spring weather, both teams were in good spirits and thankful to be playing on our scenic lakeside Ramos courts.
