The young Cougars squad traveled to Concord, NH to play the Pelicans of St. Paul’s School. Five senior Pelicans were recognized prior to the match, which was their last one for the season. Cougars Put Up a Fight Against Wildcats

The Wildcats from Vermont Academy fielded a strong squad. The younger Cougars displayed more determination and were more competitive in both singles and doubles. Many matches were closely played, the Cougars winning one of three tiebreakers in singles. Once again, Matias Martinez won his match at number two, playing against a stronger, very athletic Wildcat.

Young Cougar Team Overpowered by New Hampton School

The Cougars, without three of the key players in the squad, traveled to play the Huskies of New Hampton School. The revamped lineup included the youngest players on the team. Playing the top four singles were Matias Martinez, Pablo Villarreal, Jay Lee, and Alejandro Gonzales, respectively. All four lost on tiebreakers.
